近日，一位在英国爱丁堡留学的重庆姑娘带着自己亲手制作的糖葫芦走上街头，分享给路人品尝。

A Chongqing-born international student studying in the UK recently captivated the public by sharing traditional Chinese candied haws, known as "糖葫芦" (tanghulu), on the streets of Edinburgh.

女孩自制糖葫芦，身着汉服，手拿糖葫芦走上街头，热情地回应每一个好奇的人，为大家讲解这道中国传统小零食。

In the video, the student, adorned in traditional Chinese attire known as hanfu, enthusiastically offered her homemade candied haws to passersby. She not only introduced them to the snack's preparation and various flavors but also ignited curiosity and delight among the foreign onlookers.

甚至有当地小朋友惊喜地脱口而出“糖葫芦”。中国姑娘惊喜回应：“你知道糖葫芦？你想要一个吗？”小女孩表示，自己看过中国电视剧里的糖葫芦，非常想尝一尝。

Upon encountering the candied haws, one British girl excitedly exclaimed "tanghulu," much to the student's delight. The student promptly offered the treat to the child, who eagerly expressed a desire to taste it, having seen the sweet treat in Chinese TV series.

还有一位在英国出生的小朋友，他的小名就叫“糖葫芦”。他出生以后还没有回过中国，但此刻他终于知道了自己名字的由来和糖葫芦的美味。

Another child, born in the UK, was unexpectedly nicknamed "tanghulu," despite never having visited China. In that moment, he discovered the origin of his name and relished the flavor of the traditional Chinese snack.

糖葫芦是中国北方一种颇具代表性的小吃，在北京尤为有名。

Sugar-coated haws (Candied haws/tanghulu) is an iconic snack in northern China, especially in Beijing.

这种边走边吃的甜食一串串地卖，味道可口，外表好看——亮红色的山楂喜庆地串成串，外面那层糖衣在阳光下闪闪发亮。
