Zhangjiajie: Ready for Travelers on the Go!

据统计，9月29日至10月1日，张家界共接待中外游客20万人次，与去年“十一”黄金周前三天相比，增长超过约两成。

Statistics show that Zhangjiajie hosted 200，000 tourists from both home and abroad from Sep. 29th to Oct. 1st, a figure that increased by 20 percent compared to the number of travelers during the first three days of the same Golden Week last year.

10月2日，“十一”旅游黄金周进入第四天，世界自然遗产、世界地质公园张家界天子山、黄石寨、黄龙洞等各大景点相继迎来客流高峰，成千上万的海内外游客兴致勃勃地饱览了绝美的自然风光，同时也尽情享受着景区景点提供的周到文明服务。

On Oct 2nd, the fourth day of the Golden Week, Zhangjiajie, well known as a World Natural Heritage and World Geology Park，witnessed the peak of its tourist number in all its scenic spots like the Tianzi Mountain, the Yellow Stone Fort and the Yellow Dragon Cave. Thousands of tourists enjoyed not only the wonderful natural scenery but also the thoughtful and pleasant service throughout their tour.

In order to ensure a satisfactory reception during the Golden Week of the National Day Holiday this year and realize the ultimate goal of "being safe, in good order and of great quality", Zhangjiajie Municipal Government has enacted a holiday tour scheme to enhance public service by improving efficiency and cooperation among member departments of holiday tour coordination.

全市旅游、公安、工商、物价、交通、交警、城管、消防、卫生、林业、景区办等相关旅游职能部门坚持24小时值班，及时协调解决和处理各种突发事件，进一步排查整治旅游安全隐患，进一步规范假日旅游市场秩序，确保游客安全文明旅游。

Functional departments at the municipal level covering tourism, public security, administration of industry and commerce, price control, transportation, traffic, chengguan (urban administration), fire protection, public health, forestry and scenic spot management have been on 24-hour work shifts in order to make timely responses to emergencies, investigate potential hazards, maintain an orderly holiday tour market and thus ensure a safe and pleasant tour for all tourists.
