Current Trends in the Development and Teaching of the Four Language Skills
The attached is a collection of papers about the current trends in the development and teaching of the four language skills, edited by Esther Usó-Juan, and Alica Martínez-Flor (2006).
The book consists of five sections. Section I comprises a single chapter briefly overviewing past and current approaches to language learning grouped under three central theoretical positions: the environmentalist, the innatist and the interactionist views of language learning.
Sections II-V present different authors’ discussions about the trends concerning the development and teaching of the skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
